Hey there, my name is Dae! I've been a freelance artist for almost a decade, and have been drawing for as long as I can remember. Growing up, drawing has always been my number one hobby, and I can't say the feeling has ever faded.
My preferred focus has always been, original character art. The human form is such a beautiful and relatable subject; our ability to connect with our humanity through art is timeless.
In college, I pursued a degree in Game Design with a focus on concept art, where I would learn to focus on more traditional drawing and painting. I had aspirations of becoming a concept artist, but as my schooling progressed, I found a great interest in 3d design and animation. This became my main focus for a few years as the gaming industry was becoming more 3d heavy, but my itch to create was not quite fulfilled. So, I purchased a large pen tablet and picked up 2d animation. After a couple years of practice, I began freelancing 2d animation, mainly for social media content creators.
My goal at this point in my art career is to participate in bigger team projects, as I believe the best creations come from a fusion of ideas from different minds.
In conclusion, I am very grateful for where my creative journey has lead me, and I look forward to wherever it takes me. I am always learning and forever growing.
